February Festivities

These two pictures capture Carly's personality.  Love it!

Ryleigh's third birthday party was at the carousel at Stone Briar Mall. The kids loved it! Here Aunt Lori is with Ryleigh and Kale is beside them.

Zack with Carly and Kate.
Laci and Carly.

Uncle Brett was working magic with Baby Claire. She was really tired and he got her to be calm. Way to go Brett!

It is official. Kate is really growing up! Kate has now moved into a high seat booster seat. That now means that she can buckle herself in and use an adult seatbelt instead of the straps. She was so excited!

Kamara and I wanted to do something fun on our birthday so we took all six girls to one of our favorite restaurants, Abuelos. They were very smart and seated us in the very back in a secluded area that was clearly meant for families with kids. We had the whole area to ourselves for quite some time. It was perfect!

Claire did a great job sitting in her carseat and playing with her toys. Don't worry Claire, you will be eating chips and queso before you know it.

Aubrey and Ryleigh enjoying some chips and ranch.

That night Kamara came over with Hannah and we had fun snacks while watching Bachelor. It was a great way to end our birthday!

On a different day we went to Palio's pizza for dinner. We very rarely go to a restaurant to eat out as a family. We also had never been to Palio's Pizza. It was really good!

We ordered kids spaghetti for the girls. I love how you can see a noodle coming out of Carly's pizza slice.

I love how Kate also has a combination of spaghetti and pizza. I promise there is a plate underneath all of that. It looks like she is eating off of the table, but we would never do that!

Valentine's Day

Kate wrote her name on all of her Valentine Cards for school.

I made heart sandwiches for both girl's lunch.

I let the girl's put stickers on some foam hearts.
I bought some glitter and colored glue sticks for the girls to do some artwork with. I love to see the pictures that they create!
Kate's Valentine party at school. Kate and Carly wanted to sit right next to each other.

I was so proud of Carly. She did not complain at all about not getting to make a cookie. She watched while Kate decorated her heart cookie.

I think Kate put enough candies on her cookie!
Kate was sweet and gave Carly a bite of the icing.

Kate loved looking at all her valentine cards when she got home.

Carly enjoyed building with her bristle blocks beside Kate.

Carly loves to build things!
Our Valentine presents to our girls.

My parents gave them a bag full of treats that they loved looking through!

Kate and Carly both got a big Valentine heart with  puzzle pieces where you match the toy chocolate shapes.

Claire is enjoying her new toy!

Happy first Valentine's Day Claire!

We picked up two Papa Murphy's Valentine pizzas. Yummy!

I always go into the girl's room before we go to bed to check on their blankets. One evening I walked in to see this adorable sight! One of Kate's dolls laying on her neck. So sweet.

This month Claire started playing in the same exersaucer that we have had with Kate and Carly. It took her some time to get use to it, but she enjoys it in short spurts now.

A typical evening in our household involves the girls climbing on Zack. He usually is only home for a short time before one of them wants to climb on him. Such a great Daddy!

On another day Zack thought it would be fun to set up a campsite in our backyard. The girls loved it! Zack used an old bird bath for a fire.

The night would not be complete without smores!

Kate loves to hold Claire!

Carly loves to be where Mommy and Daddy are. Usually in the morning we let the girls watch a little TV with their breakfast. Some times Zack and I like to watch TV in our bedroom during this time. It will not be long before Carly will come into our room to join us. She will say "I want to sit on the bed with you." Or she might say" I want to play this with you." Zack was just finishing his cereal when Carly came into the room and brought the lacing letters to do with him. Quality time is definitely Carly's love language. Such a sweet girl!

One preschool day I took Carly to Trading Joes and let her use the little  carts that they have while I used the big cart. She had this smile on her face the whole time! It made her day!

Father Daughter Ball at the Branch
I love this picture! Zack took the girls to their first Father Daughter Dance at The Branch. They were so excited to get dressed up and wait for their Daddy to take them on their date. I loved seeing the pictures of all the fun that they had.

Kate was wanting Carly to dance with her, but clearly Carly was not on the same page.

Zack got his arm work out that night! What an awesome Daddy to hold both the girls and dance with them.
