March

Kate's Open House! It was a little difficult for this Mama because Zack was at his own Open House. So, I was trying to give Kate the proper attention while also managing the younger two girls. Claire made it a little difficult, but Kate was being very patient. Here she is in front of their 100 day quilt.

Kate and Carly were so excited that I was letting them paint my nails for a change! They ask at least once a week if I can paint their nails, so it happens at least once or twice a month. And yes, I am still in my robe. It was a Saturday and I had not gotten dressed yet for the day.

We spent some of our spring break driving to Abilene. Here we were taking a break and Claire enjoying some time behind

We went up to Abilene Christian Schools to see the Book Fair at Mom Mom's school and to play. Claire felt so big sitting in the big chair.

Mom Mom let the girl's pick out some books.

Mom Mom gave the girl's some old warm hats to wear. They looked so cute in them. Dad Dad cuddling with Claire.

I love these pics of Carly. They capture her beautiful smile and personality.

I love this picture of Claire and me, too. We were singing together and talking about parts of her body. I think here she was pointing to her ears.

Our three beautiful girls:Carly

Claire

Our girls love playing in the backyard at Mom Mom and Dad Dad's house. Dixie, too! You can just see the pure joy on their faces!

I love this close up of Kate's sweet face!

This was Claire's excited face and hurried face to get some place. She kind of pushes her face forward a little bit as she walks. It is quite funny to see!

Enjoying a yummy meal together!

We went to a fun park/playground that had a little area where prairie dogs live. We had a great time!

We went to the Abilene Zoo on our last day there over Spring Break. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time! Here am I with Carly.
I love these pictures of the girls with the monkeys. So sweet!

My other favorite part of the Abilene Zoo is the giraffes. We love getting to feed them!

A great picture with Mom Mom and Dad Dad. This picture also cracked me up because it was like the giraffe photobombed the picture.

Mom Mom and Dad Dad

I love this picture of Claire looking up at Dad Dad.

It is time to feed the fish!

Look at all those fish!

Getting ready to have a Tea Party with Mom Mom. The girls loved putting on jewelry and make-up! Thank you Mom Mom for taking the time to do this with them. Such special memories.

Look at the yummy treats, too.

Claire enjoyed eating some of the snacks, too.

Choosing your jewelry is an important decision!

Look at those red lips!

Mom Mom has on her jewelry, too.

They had some good visiting, too. It was a special way to end our wonderful couple of days there.

You are probably wondering why I have a picture of Elton John on our blog. Well, that is because of the picture below this one. Zack was watching Claire and she was walking around with doll glasses. Zack thought she resembled Elton John. Ha! Ha!

So cute!

Both Kate and Carly got advanced in their gymnastics class. So proud of them. This was taken after gymnastics which is why their hair is so crazy!

At the end of spring break the Tate cousins played together at a park in Grapevine and then we went out to lunch. It was a lot of fun!

Claire was not there because she was napping at home with Zack.

Ryleigh and Carly

The girls absolutely love playing in the garage with Zack!

Carly fell asleep while watching TV in our bedroom.

Claire was waking her up

This is her startled wake up face. Poor thing!

We had Carly's birthday party the Saturday before her birthday. Since last year Carly has been saying that she wanted to have her birthday party at the Carousel at Stonebriar Mall. It was so neat to be able to give her what she wanted. She loved it!

This was the picture we used for the birthday evite.

I let Claire ride on the carousel whenever I was taking the picture of Carly for the birthday evite. She was pretty excited! Look at that face.
Claire was so excited to be moved in a forward facing carseat. We did on March 27 which was also Carly's birthday. Claire had been unbuckling herself every time we got in the infant carseat. We would get to a location and we would see she had unstrapped herself, so it was just not safe. She had also exceeded the weight limit in the infant seat. So, she was 18 months here.

Look at that happy face!

Carly was so excited to be going to preschool to celebrate her birthday. She told me she was making a heart in this picture.

At Carly's school it was also Teddy Bear Picnic day. So, they were combining the picnic with Carly's birthday treats. So cute!

Carly has gotten really good riding her scooter! The girls love riding up and down the hills of our driveway and the one behind us.

Look at that messy face!

Kate riding her bike.

Classic Claire face. She makes this very concerned face often.

Claire joined in the fun, too.

Carly is being a good sister helping out.

Love this sweet face!

We had a wonderful March!
