I cannot believe that Claire is almost 11 months old! I just want to stop time! We were not able to take her to her 9 month appointment till she was actually 10 months old. At that appointment she weighed 20.7 pounds putting her in the 75th percentile for her weight. She was in the 75th percentile for her heighth and 50th percentile for her her head width. Healthy girl! Now that Claire is 10 months old she pulls up on everything and will walk while she is holding on to something. However, she has not taken any steps yet by herself. She will eat just about any finger food we put in front of her. I do not give her hardly any baby food anymore. She feeds herself when she eats with the exception of yogurt. Over the past couple of months Claire has started having more separation anxiety. She has a hard time going to the nursery on Sundays and will cry on and off the whole time. The poor thing! Claire is very active. She only likes to be held for a short time before wanting to get down to crawl and explore. She is still a very happy girl! Unfortunately, this past month she had the virus Roseola. She started showing symptoms of it when we came back from our beach trip. She had looser stools almost like diarrhea for a week and felt pretty warm a couple of days. However, she did not ever run a forehead fever. Then after about 10 days she broke out in a rash kind of like hives all over her body. She was also more fussy during that time. I just had started to think that maybe she was having an allergic reaction to something she had eaten. One morning when I came in her room to get her the rash had spread to her face, so I took her to her doctor and sure enough she had Roseola. I was just thankful that it was a virus and not an allergy. Kate had that same virus when she was one, but Carly has never gotten it. You just have to let the virus run it's course. When they break out in a rash it is only about 24 more hours before they are back to their normal state.
Claire is making more and more sounds. She is always babbling about something. One of my favorite things is when Claire carries a toy while crawling. It is so cute! Just in the past week Claire has had another tooth cut through, which makes five now. Claire has also gotten a lot more persistent. She will make sure and let you know if she doesn't like what you are doing or she wants you to stop.
Claire likes to be where we are and likes to get into everything. We have had to use the word "No" more in the past couple of months. Claire loves to put her hands in Dixie's water bowl. Yuck!
Claire loves to play with her sisters and also wants distance from them when they are continuing to grab on her. She loves it when they are in time-out. The minute they are sitting in the hallway she wants to crawl over and play with them. Of course Kate and Carly then think it is hilarious and the time out is not serving it's purpose. So, we have to put Claire in a place where she can't reach them. Claire puts everything in her mouth so at times it can be a challenge to keep the little toy pieces off the floor. We have taken many things out of her mouth. This really concerns Kate. She wants to make sure Claire doesn't choke on anything. Sweet sister! Claire continues to change so much every month and she is looking so big to us now. At the same time she is still our little baby. We love her infectious smile that just lights up a room!

| Zack fixed our broken wagon so we have enjoyed going on some walks with it the past couple of weeks. |
We have enjoyed the past couple of months with Claire. In just a short time she will be a year old-WOW! I will be posting some more posts on this summer very soon.
