I know I said I would post pictures of my shower a couple of weeks ago, but I just can't help posting about these girls first. I just love Aubrey and Kate. They are such girls and act like siblings. They want whatever the other one wants. However, they also will play really well together. Even though they aren't talking completely to each other, it is like they have their own language. They say stuff to each other that only the other one seems to understand. It is neat to see how they give each other ideas and learn from each other. They both have had more of an awakening on sharing and time out in the past 3 weeks, but I think that is good for them. It gives them both a little taste of what it is going to be like when they have their little sisters home. I now have about 2 1/2 weeks until Carly is suppose to get here based on my due date. She is still pretty high, so at this point I don't feel like she is coming early. I am honestly happy about that. There are still last minute things I am trying to do to get ready for her, and I am glad that I am more available right now to babysit Aubrey. That is not to say that I am not excited about seeing sweet Carly's baby face and my feet again. I have never liked my feet, but it will be nice to be able to see them and bend down a little more easily. I feel like God has given me strength and endurance these past three weeks. I was more miserable at this state with Kate than I am with Carly. Maybe a laid back baby? We will see soon enough. Zack and I are looking forward to having this next week off for spring break. It will be good for us to enjoy some family time before we transition to having a newborn again. It will be so good to see Carly very soon!
Look at me Mommy! I am eating cereal with a spoon!

They love this chair! They can climb easily into it and sit by each other. We got some great footage of them reading with each other.

On this particular day they sat in different places and read for awhile.

Trouble, trouble, trouble! They took the toys from the playroom and put them in the entryway. I think Kate knows she maybe shouldn't be doing this. Don't worry, I made them help me clean it up shortly after.

Here they are sharing nicely.

This just happened yesterday and it was so precious! All on their own they each took a purse and and were pushing the cart and baby stroller around and around the house. Kate has one of my old gigantic purses and Aubrey has a gift bag and a little girl purse. They would pass me, wave, and say "Bye." It was priceless. Then, they each walked down the hall as you will see below.

Kate was waving.

When Kate went down for a nap Aubrey took all the bags she could find and wanted them all! She thought it was pretty funny, too.

Bonus shot: Kate eating an oreo. She was so excited to eat a chocolate oreo. I know I was taking a risk here, but it paid off. It wasn't too messy and it entertained her. Her mouth was pretty gross, but it was funny.

Those are very sweet moments! Also, the picture of Kate eating the Oreo made me laugh aloud!
I love the pic of Kate eating the oreo too! PRICELESS! Thanks for taking such good care of the girls. I love you Tam.
It is so neat that the girls will grow up having such a special relationship with each other. Their worlds are both about to change with the little ones coming home, and it is nice that they have each other. They are such cute little mommies! I'm sure they will both be great big sisters!
