Grapevine Lake Weekend

On August 3-4 we got to spend the night at the cabins on Grapevine Lake with the Tate family. It was a lot of fun! Their cabins are very nice. The girls loved swimming in the lake, fishing, hanging out with cousins and having s'mores.

Early Saturday morning the girls loved hanging out behind the cabins  throwing rocks and feeding ducks. I love this picture of Carly!

You can see the cabins behind the girls. They loved running down the hill. Here Ryleigh and Carly are running.

Aubrey and Kate had to join in the fun, too.

A beautiful view of the lake and the ducks that we had fun feeding.

Carly giving Ryleigh a big hug. A little too rough Carly!

That is better. Sweet girls!

Picking rocks to throw in the lake.

On the dock pier getting ready to fish.

Rod teaching Aubrey to fish.

Zack and Kate fishing together. Oh look,  Kate got a little fish! Yeah!

Carly wanted a turn, too.

Zack does a great job teaching the girls to fish.

Ryleigh and Carly sitting and waiting for their turn.

Kate was so excited!

After fishing we let the kids play on the playground at the lake before swimming  in the lake.

Then we headed to the lake to play in the sand and swim.  So fun!

Taking a break at my parent's house to take naps before heading back to the lake.
Swimming in the lake again! The little girls loved playing in the sand. Here is Carly, Ryleigh and Ellee .

Before going home we all had some yummy smores!

A good friend of the family, John Seeker, was there with his family, too. Carly enjoyed sitting and eating her s'mores with him.

Zack helping Kate make her very own smores.

Look at that face!  I think she liked them.

Kate did too! We had such a great time at the lake.  I am so thankful to my parents for getting a couple of cabins so that we could all take turns staying and enjoying the lake together. It made for some fun memories.
