We have had some fall fun this week. Zack and I went to the State Fair on Tuesday. I grew up going to the State Fair every year, so it was nice to get to share in this tradition with Kate. We didn't stay there very long, but long enough to see the cars, go to the bird show and eat some food. You have to eat food at the fair. No, we did not venture out to eat any of the famous fried stuff. I am sure some of it was yummy, but mostly it sounds disgusting. Fried butter, really? I think I would rather spend our tickets on something more classic like corn dogs and nachos. Now that is my style! Yesterday, I went to the Dallas Arboretum with our friends, Jamie and Caleb. Caleb is around Kate's age and Jamie is expecting again like me. It was perfect weather and so beautiful with all of the pumpkins. I could of spent longer there too, but naps make it tough.
I also got to see some of our closest friends, the Clarks. They have two precious kids, Cason and Annie. Cason is in the picture. It is not hard to tell Kamara and me a part now that I am pregnant!

This seemed like a good idea, but Kate didn't think so. It was this big wooden flower where you could put your head through the hole for a picture.
One of Kate's favorite things to do is to pick flowers.
